what do these abreviations mean?

Hi All,
In Doublesaj and Old Blue's posting they signed off with:
~~Doublesaj & Old Blue~~
P50 F 331 X73 V17 HH 29

So if P means placed boxes and F means found boxes (is that really 331????)
and HH means hitchhikers placed, then what does X and V mean??? And do I
have the other meanings correct?

Yes, we've achieved F331 since we started in May of '02. We've really been
bitten by this letterboxing bug! In fact, we're now planning our vacations
around it! Gets us out of the house, taxes our brains (we REALLY love the cryptic
and difficult clues!) and gives us a great feeling of achievement. But best of
all, it takes us to the most beautiful and amazing places we've ever been and
would otherwise never know about.

And wait until you go to a gathering. Oh, you meet the most interesting and
fun people!!
